  • What is Simple Electronic Signature?

    In short, the simple electronic signature (FS) is a mode of remote signature that is very easy to use and is legally recognized at the evidentiary level in Italy and Europe. The degree of its legal value is determined by the court in case of a dispute.

    We at OTP service, in order to offer the strongest possible evidentiary value, have enhanced the features by making it very similar in terms of requirements to the advanced electronic signature (FEA).

    In fact, each step of the signing process is recorded in an event log where every IT trail is documented. In addition, the signer is required to complete the signature by authentication via otp delivered to the signer’s email address or cell phone number. For security issues, these two data are set by the proposer and cannot be changed by the signer.

  • What is Advanced Electronic Signature?

    The signing process is very similar for both solutions and the only difference from the FS is the recognition of signers, which is provided only for FEA. In fact, for this there is a specific regulation and it is mandatory that the recognition of the person who is to sign be carried out.

    You do the signer recognition and it can be done remotely or in person. If you do it in person you only have to enter the signer’s information. On the other hand, if you cannot meet him physically you can choose remote recognition and let him show his identity through our simple procedure, you only have to check his ID data and the photographic proof that will be required. The shots will be taken in realtime but your control is deferred. In fact, the process is frozen, resumed and concluded according to the time required for each signer.

    If the data are confirmed, the document is considered signed and a copy is sent to each signer, with the signature certificate generated by OTP service attached in the document itself.

  • What do I have to do to get a document signed?

    These are the simple steps, in common with the signature types, to get a document signed:

    1. You choose the type of signature (simple or advanced)
    2. You upload the document file to be signed
    3. You enter the details of the person(s) whose signature is required
    4. You enter the signature points in the document
  • What does the person who has to sign the document receive?

    These are the steps of the petitioner(s) who will receive the request:

    1. The signer receives the link via email to start the signing with already attached the document to be signed.
    2. For advanced signing there is an extra part of verification
    3. The signer accepts the signature points you have entered by placing a simple check mark on each.
